अब बैंकों में 500-1000 रुपए के पुराने नोट एक्सचेंज नहीं होंगे।

नई दिल्ली. अब बैंकों में 500-1000 रुपए के पुराने नोट एक्सचेंज नहीं होंगे। यह ऐलान करते हुए सरकार ने कहा कि अब बैंकों में नोट सिर्फ जमा किए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा सरकार ने 1000 के नोट के यूज को पूरी तरह बंद करने का ऐलान किया। जरूरी सर्विसेज के लिए 500 रुपए के पुराने नोट के यूज 15 दिसंबर तक के लिए बढ़ा दिया गया है। इसका मतलब है कि पेट्रोल पंप, पानी, बिजली का बिल आदि के लिए आप 500 रुपए का इस्तेमाल कर सकेंगे। फाइनेंस मिनिस्ट्री ने एक स्टेटमेंट जारी कर ये जानकारियां दीं।

बैंकों में भीड़ घटी, अब नोट नहीं होंगे एक्सचेंज

मिनिस्ट्री ने बंद नोटों के एक्सचेंज पर रोक लगाने की वजह बताते हुए कहा कि अब बैंकों में नोट एक्सचेंज करने वालों की संख्या में कमी आती दिख रही है। इसे देखते हुए नोट एक्सचेंज को पूरी तरह बंद करने का फैसला लिया गया है। अभी तक बैंकों से 2000 रुपए तक एक्सचेंज करने की सुविधा दी जा रही थी।

अब बैंकों में जमा करने होंगे 500-1000 के नोट

मिनिस्ट्री ने कहा कि अब लोगों को अपने पुराने 500 और 1000 के नोट डिपॉजिट करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जा सकता है। इससे उन लोगों को प्रोत्साहित किया जा सकता है, जिनके अभी तक बैंकों में अकाउंट नहीं है। ऐसे लोग अब नए अकाउंट खुलवाने के लिए बैंकों में आएंगे। सरकार को इस संबंध में तमाम सुझाव मिल रहे हैं। मिनिस्ट्री ने कहा कि सभी पहलुओं पर विचार करने के बाद अहम फैसले लिए जाएंगे।

15 दिसंबर तक के लिए दी राहत

सरकार ने चुनिंदा ट्रांजैक्शंस और एक्टिविटीज के लिए कई एक्जंप्शंस को भी मंजूरी दी, जहां 500 और 1000 रुपए के नोट से पेमेंट किया जा सकता है। अब एक्जेंपेटेड कैटेगरीज के तहत पेमेंट सिर्फ 500 रुपए के नोट से ही स्वीकार किया जाएगा, जो 15 दिसंबर तक ही किया जा सकता है।

इन जगहों पर यूज होंगे पुराने 500 के नोट

-टोल प्लाजा और पेट्रोल पंपों पर।
-सेंट्रल गवर्नमेंट, स्टेट गवर्नमेंट, म्युनिसिपैलिटी और लोकल बॉडी स्कूलों में 2000 रुपए तक स्कूल फीस।
-सेंट्रल या स्टेट गवर्नमेंट कॉलेजों में फीस का पेमेंट।
-प्रीपेड मोबाइल के टॉप-अप के लिए 500 रुपए तक का यूज।
-कंज्यूमर कोऑपरेटिव स्टोर्स पर आइडेंटिटी प्रूफ के साथ एक बार में 5000 रुपए तक की खरीद। इसमें सफल और मदर डेयरी भी आते हैं।
-यूटिलिटीज के मौजूदा और बकाया बिल का पेमेंट, जो सिर्फ पानी और बिजली के बिल के लिए है। लेकिन एडवांस पेमेंट नहीं होगा।
-मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ रोड ट्रांसपोर्ट एंड हाईवेज ने टोल प्लाजा को 2 दिसंबर तक की रात तक के लिए टोल फ्री कर दिया। इसके साथ ही सरकार ने फैसला किया है कि 3 दिसंबर से 15 दिसंबर तक टोल प्लाजा पर पुराने 500 रुपए के नोट इस्तेमाल किए जा सकेंगे।
-फॉरेन सिटीजंस को 5000 रुपए प्रति सप्ताह तक एक्सचेंज की अनुमति। इस संबंध में उनके पासपोर्ट में एंट्री की जाएगी।
-केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों के अधीन आने वाले मिल्क बूथ्स पर।
-सरकारी अस्पतालों में इलाज के लिए पेमेंट में।
-रेलवे टिकट काउंटर, सरकार या पब्लिक सेक्टर अंडरटेकिंग्स के बस टिकट काउंटर्स पर। एयरपोर्ट्स पर एयरलाइन टिकट काउंटर्स पर टिकटों की खरीद में।
-श्मशान और कब्रिस्तान पर पेमेंट में।
-एलपीजी गैस सिलिंडर की खरीद में।
-रेल से सफर के दौरान ऑन-बोर्ड केटरिंग के लिए पेमेंट में।
-सबअर्बन और मेट्रो रेल ट्रैवल के लिए टिकट की खरीद में।
-आर्कियोलॉजिकल सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया द्वारा संचालित मॉन्युमेंट की एंट्री टिकट की खरीद में।
-म्युनिसिपल और लोकल बॉडीज सहित केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों को फीस, टैक्सेज के मद में पेमेंट।
-कोर्ट फीस के रूप में पेमेंट।
-सरकार द्वारा संचालित आउटलेट्स पर सीड्स की खरीद के लिए पेमेंट।

Kicking off Vogue India Fashion Fund 2016 with the first round of judging

Every June, the Vogue India team goes in full frenzy—the emerging talent spotted on runways has us placing bets on who will be the next big thing. And tomorrow, we kick off our annual hunt for The One: the first crop of shortlisted designers will present their ideas to a formidable jury of industry heavyweights including Sunil Sethi, president FDCI, Alka Nishar of Aza, Tina Tahiliani of Ensemble, designers Gaurav Gupta and Anita Dongre, fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi, Kunal Dass of Van Heusen, Vogue India’s editor Priya Tanna, fashion director Anaita Shroff Adajania, fashion features director Bandana Tewari and marketing director Oona Dhabar.

Why Bollywood can’t get enough of Manish Malhotra

Let’s face it—Manish Malhotra needs no introduction. A coveted must-have for a smattering of brides and grooms, the designer’s career spanning 25 years has seen him juxtapose the world of fashion and films in a decidedly inimitable manner.

Malhotra started out as a model but turned to costume designing and styling in the ’90s, with Urmila Matondkar’s look in Rangeela serving as his turning point. From then, he’s launched his store: Reverie – Manish Malhotra in 1998 as well as his present-day eponymous label in 2005.
