Finally, Sunny's wish comes true?

The two will shake a leg to the 1980 chartbuster "Laila O Laila" for the upcoming crime-drama.

Sunny's face off with a journalist on a talk show, won her lot of praises. Only good things have followed her since then.

Everyone from Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma to Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt taking up for the actress.

Now the news is that, Sunny will be shaking a leg with Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholakia's crime-drama Raees.

Sunny and Shahrukh Khan will be dancing on Qurbani's "Laila O Laila" which featured Feroz Khan and Zeenat Aman.

Producer duo Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, who are fans of the classic number, acquired the rights to Amit Kumar-Kanchan song which is being re-recorded and rendered with faster beats.

A source reveals, "Raees is set in the '80s and there was need of a song sequence. The makers unanimously selected "Laila O Laila" which perfectly fits with the dark, gangster theme and period. It was suggested to Shah Rukh and it was his idea to get Sunny on board. A lavish set is being created in Mumbai and rehearsals are on in full swing,"

"She will begin shooting for Raees next month. It will be a two-day schedule," the source adds.

The song will be shot in a similar club set-up as seen in the original 1980 film. Sunny will be wearing a white, sequinned gown and a feathery headgear, while trying to win over Shahrukh's attention.

Mahira Khan, a Pakistani actress, will be playing Shahrukh's Lady Love.

Malaika opts for silence over divorce rumours

Malaika opts for silence over divorce rumours

It was a "Mein chup rahungi" moment for actress Malaika Arora Khan as she decided to stay mum over rumours of divorce from producer husband Arbaaz Khan.

The actress walked for designer Mandira Wirk at the ongoing Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) winter-festive 2016 and when IANS asked her about the media reports about her personal life, she refused to comment.

Wirk presented a collection titled "Romancing Rococo" on the fourth day of the fashion gala that is taking place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here.

The collection delves deep into this style that gained prominence in Paris as a statement in fancifulness, modishness and refined style. The collection particularly takes a cue from the curlicues motifs and gilding of the iconic era and finds a modern-day expression in Wirk's collection.

"The Rococo movement emerged as a rebellion against the rigidity of Baroque designs and its hallmark was a quiet grandeur that was far from opulent or overbearing. My collection captures this exact sentiment and strives to bring forth elegance that is, at no point, over the top or gimmicky," said the designer.

Asked what made her look at Malaika as her muse this time, Wirk told IANS: "The designs depicts 18th century art and architecture and talks about curves and asymmetric designs so who can you have better than the curvaceous body of my friend Malaika."

Even Malaika was excited walking the runway and said that she would love to associate with Wirk for her fashion label titled "The Closet Label".

"My line is easy, affordable and comfortable so i would love to have designer friends," Malaika told IANS.

Why Patralekha is not open for biopics?

The last biopic film that was a hit at the box-office was Sonam Kapoor starrer "Neerja`.

Has Athiya dethroned Sonam?

She is just one film old, but is already making waves in the tinsel town for her acting skills as well as fashion and style quotient. Actress Athiya Shetty says the tag of Bollywood's fashionista comes with a "strange and surreal feeling`.

"I think I have to obviously thank my stylist (Ami Patel), who has most importantly given me my personality through my dressing and I think that is what really important.`

Sharing her fashion fundas, Athiya said the key to being stylish is to be comfortable with "whatever you are wearing".

"You have to be yourself, you have to be comfortable in your own skin and in your body type and kind of own whatever you are wearing no matter what it is," she added.

Athiya, who is the brand ambassador of Maybelline New York, turned muse for designer Namrata Joshipura for the beauty brand's show at the fourth day of Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) Autumn-Winter 2016 on Saturday here. The actress, who stepped into showbiz alongside actor Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj in superstar Salman Khan's co-production venture "Her" last year, has walked the ramp for several fashion shows, but Athiya asserts that she is "always nervous before walking on the ramp".

"I am thinking about thousand things but I think once you get on the ramp and you see the people cheering for you, you automatically get a sense of energy in front of the live audience," she shared.

Athiya had a pre-show shoot in the national capital, and she says that it was a nice experience.

"I have been to Delhi but I have never seen all the locations in Delhi. So, for me it was a very nice experience. I miss greenery and space of Delhi when in Mumbai," she said.
